يوم يأتي بعض آيات ربك لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها لم تكن آمنت من قبل أو كسبت في إيمانها خيرا قل انتظروا إنا منتظرون "On the day of the arrival of the signs of thy Lord is not useful anymore for himself a person of faith who have not believed before that, or he is not (yet) earned righteousness through its faith. Say: 'Wait by the fact we also are waiting for you (also)'. "(Al-An` am: 158)

Explanation Meaning of Verse
Ash-Shaykh Abdurrahman ibn Nasir As-Sa'di rahimahullahu said:
"On the day when some of the signs of Rabbmu, which is an extraordinary event, which to him is known that the destruction was so close, and end soon. It is not helpful faith of a soul that was not previously believed or that have not yielded good in his faith, that is if they have already encountered some of the signs of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, then it does not benefit the pagan faith of a believer if he wanted. Not too helpful for a Muslim who is less charitable to his faith grew after that. But the benefit to him is the faith which he had before it and the goodness which he had expected (beneficial) before the arrival of some of these signs. And wisdom of all that clear, in which faith is the faith that brings the benefits of the unseen matter, and is the choice of a slave (to believe). As if the signs are already visible, then it has become a matter which was witnessed (not supernatural), so that faith is no longer useful. Therefore, it resembles a forced faith. As people of faith are drowned, burned, and people who, when semisalnya have seen death, he was trying to let go of what he once believed. As Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala:
فلما رأوا بأسنا قالوا آمنا بالله وحده وكفرنا بما كنا به مشركين. فلم يك ينفعهم إيمانهم لما رأوا بأسنا سنة الله التي قد خلت في عباده وخسر هنالك الكافرون
"And when they saw Allaah Us, they said: 'We believe only in Allah alone and we disbelieve the gods that we associate with God." So faith no use to them when they have seen Our punishment. That is the law of Allah that has prevailed over his worshipers. And in time, doomed unbelievers. "(Ghafir: 84-85)
And many hadeeth of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam who explains that what is meant by some of the verses of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala is the rising of the sun from setting. And when men see it, so they believe. But their faith is not beneficial and had closed the door upon their repentance. When it is anticipated promise to those who reject His Messenger sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam and his followers, and they look forward to the destruction and tragedy, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says:' Say: wait (and the emergence of one of these markers ), indeed we include those who wait, 'so you will know who among us is more entitled to safety. "(Taisir Al-Karim Al-Rahman)
Rahimahullahu Al-Qurtubi said: "The scholars said: 'Not very useful that one's faith in times of rising of the sun from its setting, because it had entered into their hearts the fear that eliminates any fleshly lusts and weaken every force of his strength. Thus, all mankind will believe because they believe her last day. Such circumstances the person who is near death, who decided from the urge to do immoral deeds and weakens their bodies. Whoever repented in such a state of repentance is not accepted, such acceptance does not repent of people approaching death. Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:
إن الله يقبل توبة العبد ما لم يغرغر
"Verily, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala accept the repentance of a servant for life not up to the throat." (Narrated by At-Tirmidhi and Ahmad from Abdullah bin 'Umar radi' anhuma, dihasankan rahimahullahu al-Albaani in Saheeh Al-Jami 'no. 1903)
That is, as long as his soul has not reached the end of the throat. The time was the moment where someone sees a direct place in heaven or hell. Then the people who witnessed the rising of the sun from its setting as well as it (the situation). Therefore, sepantasnyalah everyone who had witnessed the incident or who has the same legal effect as a witness, repentance rejected during his lifetime. Because knowledge about Allaah and His Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam and his promises have been forced into something. "(Tafsir Al-Qurtubi)
Ibn Kathir rahimahullahu also said: "If a kafir showed his faith at the time, it is not received from him. But when he was a believer before that day, if he's good in the charity, then he's in great kindness. But if he is fouled (faith), then he repented then, it will not be accepted repentance. "(Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
The door closed Repentance
This noble verse that describes the emergence of a time when Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala no longer accept the repentance of people who want to repent in time. Ie at a time when the rising sun from the west, which would signify the end of the era and the rise of the Day of Resurrection. Among the arguments that show about the interpretation of some of the signs of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala that the question is a sign of a great Day of Judgment, is the hadeeth narrated by Al-Imam Muslim from Abu Hurayrah radi rahimahullahu 'anhu that Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:
ثلاث إذا خرجن لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها لم تكن آمنت من قبل أو كسبت في إيمانها خيرا; طلوع الشمس من مغربها, والدجال, ودابة الأرض
"There are three cases which have arisen if it does not benefit someone who does not believe in faith before the appearance or in his faith to no good; The rising sun from the west, (the appearance) of the Antichrist, and the (discharge) daabbah (creeping thing that dialogue with the people and preach they will be close to the day). "(Narrated by Muslim, Kitabul Faith, Chapter Az-Zaman Al-Ladzi la Yuqbalu fihi Al-Iman, 1/158)
Also narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim from the hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah, he said: Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:
لا تقوم الساعة حتى تطلع الشمس من مغربها, فإذا طلعت ورآها الناس آمن من عليها فذاك حين لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها لم تكن آمنت من قبل أو كسبت في إيمانها خيرا
"Not up doomsday until sunrise of the place setting. If this had risen, and people have seen it then they believe. And it was a day that is not beneficial for the faith of one soul, which he did not believe before, or do not produce the good in his faith. "(Narrated by al-Bukhari, no. 4359 and Muslim, 1/157)
Reported also from Safwan ibn 'Assal radi' anhu that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam reported:
أن الله جعل بالمغرب بابا عرضه مسيرة سبعين عاما للتوبة, لا يغلق ما لم تطلع الشمس من قبله وذلك قول الله عز وجل: {يوم يأتي بعض آيات ربك لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها} الآية
"That Allaah to make a door of repentance to the west of the extent of travel sejarak 70 years, which will not be closed as long as the sun had not risen from the place. And that was the intent of the word of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala:
يوم يأتي بعض آيات ربك لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها
'It is no longer useful for his own personal faith is not faith ...'. "(Narrated by At-Tirmidhi no. 3536, and he menshahihkannya and Al-Albani dihasankan rahimahullahu)
Al-Imam Muslim also narrated from the hadeeth rahimahullahu Abdullah bin 'Amr radi' anhuma that he said: 'I have heard from the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam a hadith which I did not forget. I heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:' Verily the Day of Resurrection marks the very first exit is the rising of the sun from its setting place. '"
Also narrated from the hadeeth of Abu Dharr radi 'anhu, he said: Messenger of Allah sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said one day: "Do you know where the sun is gone?" They (the Companions) said: "Allah and His Messenger know better. "He said:" Indeed he went to the settlement under the 'Throne, and he humbled himself and prostration. He's always in such circumstances to say to him: 'also come from a place that you want. "She also rises from the usually rises. Then he continued walking, the human condition was not surprised one bit of it. Until he stopped again as he lowered himself prostrate on the settlement under the 'Throne. And humans are not surprised one bit of it. Then say to him: 'come a from a terbenammu!' Then come a him of a place setting. "Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:" Do you know what day it is? "They said:" Allah and His Messenger know better. "He replied: "It was a day that is not beneficial for the soul of faith who have no faith or belief that it previously did not produce the good." (Narrated by Muslim, 1/159)
Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar rahimahullahu said: "This is history-a history that is mutually agreed to point out that if the sun rises from the west, tertutuplah repent and do not open the door again. And it is not specified at the time of day of publication (of the place setting of course), but continues until the Day of Resurrection. "(Fathul Bari, 11/354)
Ahlul Bid'ah denial about this event
The whole history shows that this event will occur at the end of time. And no one would deny it except from the Ahl-ul-bid'ah, such as the Kharijites and Mu'tazilah.
Al-Qurtubi said in Tafseer rahimahullahu him after he mentions the ahaadeeth about the signs of the Hour: "It all has didustakan by the Kharijites and Mu'tazilah." Then he called atsar 'Umar bin Al-Khattab radi' anhu that he said: "O mankind! stoning was actually true, then should not you be fooled. And the proof that shows it is that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam has established the stoning, and Abu Bakr was already stoned, and indeed we have carried out the stoning after them both. And will emerge from among one of these people who would deny the stoning, reject Antichrist, deny the rising of the sun from the west, denied the punishment of the grave, intercession deniers, the deniers are out of hell after they are burned. "(Reported in Al-Abdurrazzaq Mushannaf, 7/13364, Ahmad, 1/23. But in sanadnya there is a narrator named 'Ali bin Zaid bin Jud'an, he was weak because of poor on occasion)
Ibn Abd al-Barr also said in his book rahimahullahu At-Tamhid (23/98) after atsar mentions this: "All the Kharijites and six deniers Mu'tazilah this case. Whereas Ahlus Sunnah al-justify it and they denied the pilgrims as well as proof that people menyelisihi Ahlus Sunnah. "
Rashid Rida prostration denial about the Sun at the Bottom 'Throne
Among those who deny this case is Muhammad Rashid Rida. In his commentary Al-Manar he said, after mentioning the hadeeth of Abu Dharr radi 'anhu of prostration under the sun' Throne: "This is narrated by two-Shaykh (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) from a variety of road from Ibrahim ibn Yazid ibn Syarik, from Abu Dhar . And he, although in-tsiqah by a party of his people-is mudallis. Rahimahullahu Al-Imam Ahmad said: 'He did not meet Abu Dharr. "As the Ad-Daruquthni rahimahullahu:' He did not hear from Hafsah and Aisha, and did not find age two." And as mentioned by Ibn Madini rahimahullahu: 'He not heard of 'Ali and Ibn' Abbas radi 'anhuma. It was mentioned in At-Tahdheeb Tahdheeb. And has been reported in addition to this history of the companions of the way 'an'anah1, so it is possible to tell him of them are people who are not trusted. So, if in some versions Shahihain and diseased Sunan books like this, plus there is the possibility of a mistake and entered the story Israiliyat penukilan the meaning, then how else to narrations left by the two Sheikhs (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) and the abandoned by the transmitters of the books of Sunan? "
Here's what she said. (Tafsir Al-Manar, 8/211-212. See Asyrath As-Hour book, the work of Yusuf bin Abdillah Al-Wabil it. 394)
And this is saying a falsehood, which is used as a weapon by the Ahl-ul-heresy to deny a saheeh hadeeth that comes from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, and reject what has been the belief of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah. The answer to the doubtful Rashid Rida are as follows:
First: in the Hadith there is no history of Yazid ibn Ibrahim at-Taimi from Abu Dharr radi 'anhu. But the truth is a history of Yazid ibn Ibrahim at-Taimi from his father from Abu Dharr radi 'anhu. And his father was named Yazid bin At-Taimi Syarik Al-Kufi. He narrated the hadith directly from the Companions, among them: 'Umar bin Al-Khattab,' Ali bin Abi Talib, Abu Dhar, Ibn Mas'ud and others radi 'anhum. He is a narrator who tsiqah.
Second: in the history, Ibrahim ibn Yazid has said clearly that he was listening to the hadith directly from his father without any intermediary. As mentioned in Muslim history, he said: "From Ibrahim ibn Yazid At-Taimi that he heard, as I know, from his father, from Abu Dharr." So goes the allegation alleged in the history of the tadlis.
Therefore, the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah continue to receive this hadith without any resistance from them. Abu Sulaiman Al-Khaththabi rahimahullahu said when explaining the hadeeth of Abu Dharr: "In the words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam' Place of settlement beneath the Throne ', we do not deny that the sun has a place to stay in the' Throne, from the side that we are not able to reach, we can not see. And indeed when we reported about supernatural matters, then we do not deny and do not ask how, because our science is not able to reach it. "
Rahimahullahu An-Nawawi said: "The prostration of the sun, it is a range of knowledge that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has created for her." (See Asyrath As-Hour, the work of Yusuf Al-Wabil it. 385)
May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala protect us all from a misleading distortion. And Allaah knows best-shawab bish.
1 That is the narration by lafadz 'an, which means from. Which he did not explain whether he had heard directly from the teacher or not.
