The story of the Battle of Badr
Battle of Badr occurred on 7 Ramadan, two years after the migration. This
is the first war in which Muslims (Muslims) got the victory against the
infidels and the warfare that is famous for some of the miraculous
events that happened in the war. Shallalaahu
Rasulullah 'alayhi wa sallam was to
encourage Muslims to confront the Quraysh khafilah who will return to Mecca from Sham. Muslims came
out with 300 more troops there is no intention to deal with trade khafilah which only consists of 40 men, did not intend to attack, but only to point to their strengths. Khafilah trade escaped, but Abu Sufyan had his kind of messenger to the tribe of Quraish to come and rescue her. The Quraysh were developed with a large army consisting of 1000 men, 600 armor, 100 horses and 700 camels, and luxury food supplies sufficient for several days.
Quraish infidels want to make this war as a victory for those who will put fear into the hearts of all the Arab nations. They want to destroy the Muslims and get the glory and greatness. Banyangkan, the Muslim army with a small number of soldiers (including 2 horses), they just came out with the intention to block the 40 men who were unarmed but will have to face the troops well-prepared-from -3 times their number. Prophet Muhammad Muslims easily ask them to war and they will not refuse, however, he SAW would like to emphasize his followers that they must maintain the confidence and faith and to serve as a lesson for us. He SAW gather his friends to hold a consultation. Many of the friends of immigrants who make suggestions, to use good words to describe their dedication. But there is a friend of Al-Aswad bin Miqdad ra., He stood in front of those who still feel afraid and said to the Prophet Muhammad,
"O Messenger of Allah (SAW)!, We will not tell you what the children of Israel said to Musa (AS), 'Go thou with thy Lord, we sat down (waiting) here' (in surah Al-Maidah). Go with with the blessing of God and we will be with you! ".
Prophet was very fond of, but the Prophet was silent, he waits and some people may find the desire of the friends he SAW. I hope God will show you where we will cheer up your act. Then Go up with us, put our trust in the blessings of God ".
Messenger of love what is delivered and then beluai said, "Go ahead and believe that God has been promising me one of them (khafilah trade or war), and by God, as though I have been able to see the enemy lying loose". The Muslim troops moved forward and then paused at the spot adjacent to the Badr (closest place to Medina in the north of Mecca). A friend named, Al-Hubab bin Mundhir ra., Asked the Prophet, "Is Allaah revealed this to you to choose a place or a strategy of war It was the consensus decision". Rasulullah SAW said, "This is the result of a war strategy deliberations and decisions". So Al-Hubab has proposed returning to the Prophet Muhammad that Muslims should be based more troops to the south where the closest water source, then make a pond for their water supply and destroy the other water sources so as to prevent people from getting water Quraish infidels. Prophet Muhammad approved the proposal and implement it [*]. Sa'ad bin Muadh then propose to build a fort for the Messenger of Allah to protect him and as the headquarters for the Muslim forces. Prophet Muhammad and Abu Bakr ra. lived in the fort while Sa'ad bin Muadh and a bunch of men guarding it.
Prophet Muhammad had spent all the night with prayer and worship, although he SAWmengetahui that the Almighty has promised victory. It was more than love and penghambaannya and penyerahandiri to worship the Almighty with which he SAW did. It was and has been hailed as the highest form of worship known as' Ainul yaqeen.
